first off, my girlfriend bought me the tickets for philly as a birthday present (possibly the best present ever!) i seriously cannot wait

I had tickets to the philly show in 2002 :-( those unused tickets are still hanging on my wall, i'm thinking about bringing them and if i run into the boys... having them sign my unused ones as well as the tix to the current show, we'll see

my first question, is there a meetup planned for Philly for people on this board? i'd like to meet up with some of you all who are goin. i mentioned in another post about meeting up in philly that my girlfriend is only 20, so if there's a meetup i hope its somewhere she can come too

second question, does anyone know about the venue in Philly? the Pier... i'd like to know what time the doors will open so as to guess how much earlier i should get there, definitely planning on rushing the stage to get along the wall up front ;D

i have a feeling the boys won't let Philly fans down two tours in a row, it's gonna be a good show, long live oasis!

doors open an hour before the show officially begins. So they open at 6 pm. I also wanna see if we can meet up, do anything, I'm only 20 and my fakie is not good enough for philly bars, so anybody got any ideas?

columbiah - thanks for the response, maybe we can tailgate somewhere, me and my gf will have a hotel room, pre party??? haha i'm 22, so i've got no problems buying, for you or anyone really,

but meeting up somewhere would be a good idea first, like a restaurant/bar, work on getting a better fake, that would help alot

btw, i'm also from the DC area, but i go to school in new orleans, flying home (Dulles) then driving to the show, we're spending friday and sat. night there

I dig downtown Philly, but nothing beats a good tailgate. Lets all meet up early, grap a couple of disposable coolers and get ripped and take over the gig. Oasis fans will be in the parking lot early and fun will be had. I'm living in NY now, but Philly is a great tailgate town in comparison. Just hit the venue and you'll have a good time.
