This is killing me.... he sounded SO GOOD Saturday night, now this shit..... The US press will BUTCHER Oasis if Liam pulls any of that type of stuff over here... that's a fact. This is like a roller coaster man... the other day I was over the moon because Liam sounded so great in Germany, now I hear about this.... uugh. I guess you can write it off to festivals but as kalas said theres a huge train wreck coming if the rest of the band doesn't turn the brakes on soon.

the original reports were that he was being pelted with objects by fans of other bands... does anyone know if there is any truth to that?
I would say it seems weird for him to walk off so close to the end, but with Liam being the firecracker he is you never know...
Seriously he's too old for this shit now, he needs to grow up

well i've just listened to the bootleg posted in the sound and vision forums, and liams voice was shit, never mind anything being thrown at him, and he seemed to have mic and sound problems, and by reading what others have said who were there, his voice was bad, hopefully they will change the setlist for the us/canada gigs this week and we will hear what he sounds like then
the recording is bad as well, and i think the sound techs need to get their act sorted out. he sound alright on the dutch acoustic set - he really seems to have an issue with the sound setup on his mic in the last few gigs

As I said in a lengthy post(a couple up "Liam walks off and "Theories about Liams voice at the moment")I dont think this can be blamed on the sound guy,mic problems, Liam on a runner/to drunk to perform etc.Unfortunately, I think Liam is truly having voice/throat problems that are beyond his control right now and I think he is becoming genuinely frustrated. It is to bad, ironic really as I think he probably knows they made a great album and this time is out to prove something, when in years past he felt they could do no wrong so a bender from time to time was no big deal.

No problem at all, it's just not possible anymore to sing 3 nights on a roll the way Liam sings... and I wouldn't want him to change it. He was there for what, 12 out of 15 songs? you people cry too much

The way Liam sings is what helped destroy his voice. Too much strain on his show. It made it worse quality and it made it weaker. Liam needed to take better care of his voice and he should have. He could have sounded just as good. But all he does is push all the air out on one go so his vocal cords are taking a lot night after night and it'll only get worse.

What a gig you would have missed out on. It's ridiculous for him to suggest that to you.
