Are you saying liking anyone other than Oasis MUST be bandwaggon jumping? Didn't anyone on here who started liking Oasis back in 1995 or 1996 get accused of jumping on a bandwaggon themselves? Its swings and roundabouts mate. Just because you don't like a band you can't accuse ALL their fans of being bandwaggon jumpers.

I remember in 1995, I was 10, the first Oasis cd I got was the Roll With It single after seeing it on Top Of The Pops and loving it. Then I got Morning Glory, loved it. People said I was a bandwaggon jumper. Since then I've bought every single, album and dvd/video oasis have ever released, gone to various gigs etc. There will be a lot of Coldplay fans out there now (okay probably not that young though) who are being called bandwaggon jumpers after getting in to a Rush of Blood To The Head. Every big band will have bandwaggon jumpers. But to talk as if all their fans are jumping on a bandwaggon is unfair and clearly wrong. Their first album sold more than SOTSOG in 2000 without any bandwaggon.

eh? People that jump on bandwagons are people that say they really like a band and when it looks like their not as popular anymore they start knocking 'em and move on to the next band etc....if this applies to you, then yes, your a banwagoner, not sure if thats word lol, but you know what I mean.

Of course they will but I didn't say they wouldn't. Maybe you should read the post before you reply. Cheers anyway.

They way you wrote it came across like everyone who likes Coldplay is just a bandwaggon jumper.
Of course I'm not one, like I said earlier, people accused me of jumping on the Oasis bandwaggon when I first started liking them in 1995, but I've since bought everything they've ever released. Which I don't think is the act of a bandwaggon jumper!
I do take your point about continuous Coldplay posts on here, it is meant to be an Oasis forum. If anything the Coldplay posts should be moved in to that other section devoted to other bands. And also all these "X&Y Vs DBTT" ones that keep getting posted are ridiculous. They are two bands that have always had completely different sounds to each other, so I can't understand why people think its appropriate for a direct comparison, as if they're so similar or something.

Exactly Don't get me wrong I like other bands other than oasis but I just don't see the point of using this forum to knock 'em. If you don't like the album take it back to shop, sell it on e-bay, throw it in the bin ;DLOL ;D. I just wish they'd stop posting threads saying it. Calmness restored, by the way I can't beleive I only have 2 karma points. This forum is rigged with 34 posts, i think you're yet to realise how nobody gives a f*ck about karma!!
