"it'll be back at number one next week!!" You're right. I expect Oasis to regain the top spot next week too.

I heard TV companies rejected Oasis' cash for potential ad slots because they didn't want to be associated with such a bland album. This is almost unprecedented and proves how little respect have got.

it'll be back at number one next week!! In all seriousness that'll be interesting to see. All the hardcore fans have already bought the albums, now it's up to the public to decide.

It will be very interesting. I would kinda like to know if oasis albums usually hang on to the #1 spot, once they get there. It would be so fucking cool if oasis got back to #1 next week. It's probably not likely though.

Coldplays new album is very bland if you ask me, like all of their music. Oasis's is far from bland and I don't believe your statement at all.... Coldplay is doing a lot of marketting though and it will pay off for them in both the US and UK, sadly

i have HC's chart info spreadsheet in front of me, and can tell you lot how it did as well as the 4 singles week by week. Here is HCs UK chart info as it went week to week for the 1st three months :
1 2 2 2 4 5 (cert platinum) 4 8 9 12 8 9 9 (cert X2 platinum) 10 9 11
I have more of this shit if anyone wants to see how it did until it fell off the charts for good in 2003, or how the singles from HC fared week to week....

come on. HC is by that mean a number one album and all is fine, innit?
you lucky guys, there are no oasis ads here whatsoever :-( still DBTT is no.2 in germany's official album charts and no.1 in WOM (biggest music-only retailer over here) charts.
