Anyone know how much DBTT sold in its second week on sale, this week? In the UK and US or wherever else!

it came in @ no2 in the UK this week ahead of the white stripes so it must have sold rather well again.

I think I read a few days ago predictions that it would sell about another 150,000 this past week. But I didn't ever see that confirmed.

if its still in the top 20 in the us I'll be flabbergasted -- staying in the top 50 would be optimistic

if its still in the top 20 in the us I'll be flabbergasted -- staying in the top 50 would be optimistic could be dead on...i think it might surprise though, especially considering tuesdays following major holidays (memorial day in this case) are notoriously slow in the record biz.

89,000 where? Not in the US as they fell off the chart........ and I doubt in the UK as that would not put them ahead of White Stripes. Again, Epic has failed to promote this record which is frustrating as they have good critical buzz on their side for once here in the US. They need print ads in major newspapers, billboards up in major markets like NYC, San Fran, etc... internet ads, and TV ads as well. Radio and MTV will not get behind Oasis so take the marketing elsewhere. I am fucking glad they are done with Epic/Sony. They did the same exact marketing they did for HC, FTM and SOSOG which perhaps proves that they were not that interested in getting behind Oasis or are that interested in re-signing them. Dunno.

Don't expect any better promotion if they go indie as Noel says.
