Hmmmm, what gig exactly will be played at boston, I mean, which venue? Though a prefer an MSG dvd or a City of Manchester Stadium DVD.

How can they plan a DVD release of a gig they haven't played yet?? What if they come out in a bad night and play badly or something? Usually bands film all or most of their gigs and then they choose the best one or one of the best....

hope that's true. I had decided against taping so I could get hammered. A live broadcast would only make my decision easier.
Last night of the first leg of the American tour. maybe they have something up their sleeve, which is unlikely, but you never know.
bands don't video every one of their shows. the amount of equipment and production that goes into it would not be feasible to do that. I'm sure this is being planned well in advance

I don't know about you guys but I read it as "Bostong w/ live WBCN feed & future DVD release as two separate things. So they probably will release a DVD of MSG or whatever their best show was if they plan on taping more than one.

I'm going to Tweeter Center and would love a soundboard quality boot ripped from a radio stream. However, as much I'd love a DVD available of the gig I happened to be at, from an general point of view MSG stands out as the gig, if it goes well, to be on a DVD. We have 3 shows in the UK already including a 'homecoming one'. Someone on the forum said a foreign gig wouldn't sell as well in the UK. To me that's bullshit, I'm sure coldplay fans in the UK didn't think "oh shit this live dvd's from Sydney I don't want that anymore'. That would be retarded.

It says Boston gig highlighted then talks about the WBCN feed and the dvd release. It doesnt say US tour highlighted by...
They DO NOT professionally film ever show, the amount of work that has to be put into that is enormous. That is a huge production. If you've ever been to a show that was taped you'd see the amount of cameras needed, cameras on stage on tracks, mounted all over...
It semed to me that the dvd release was referring to Boston... at least it was more than apparent, could be wrong... we know they're doing a dvd of this tour, which is good enough. Perhaps they're working on a documentary as well at various shows around the tour...

not to take anything away from the american tour im sure it'll be class but if they do release a dvd of the tour there will probably only be one and it will most certianly be from a UK gig (probably a stadium one ) its just the way it is

true, it's likely that the dvd will probably be one of the UK shows, but I wouldnt necessarily garuntee it... the last three concerts have been UK shows maybe they want to do something a bit different, or maybe it's live compilation dvd like there and then...
speaking of there and then.. think of how much better that dvd could be... man.
