from www.therockradio.comIt was make-or-break for Oasis and it seems the Manchester-born musicians have made it with their latest album "Don't believe the truth". Oasis seem to be back in the minds of Americans and Europeans. The British rockers' latest single "Lyla" was a huge success and the newly released album gave the group their biggest sales week in eight years, with 65,000 copies flying off record store shelves in the US alone. The figure gives the group a debut at number 12 on the new Billboard chart. In Canadian charts "Don't believe the truth" deputed at No 3 and in the UK, not surprisingly, it deputed at No 1. "Don't Believe the Truth" is Oasis' first studio work since 2002's "Heathen Chemistry" which failed to make an impact.

I was in a important cdshop in my hometown and asked if the DBTT was selling good. The man answered that it sold fantastic and that there are many times more copies sold then the last albums. He also said that the reactions of the people who've heard the album are very positive. It gave me a big smile on my face!
