hey its good to see some oasis fans in sydney. i just keep hearing u brissy and melbourne ppl talking. we should organise a meet up. the hordern is the best venue for em too. as for the wembley setlist... firstly, it is highly unlikely they will play the likes of gas panic, who feels love, step out, helter skelter. and secondly, that setlist sucked. we want something like the maine road gig or g-mex but with the new songs. if ur from brissy and ur thinking of coming down for the show, then i strongly advise u do so. i did it for Velvet Revolver and it was the best time i have ever had. i just slept at the airport for a nite. was tired as buggery but its so worth it. and doing it for oasis will be even better! we should meet at fox studios. get some t-shirts made or something... just so we can beat those new yorkers at msg!

apparently there are more shows to be announced which is great news. Probably a couple more in Sydney and Melbourne and then maybe one for Newcastle, Canberra and Adelaide.... ;D i have a feeling the Perth fans and the Kiwi fans will miss out again... poor bastards... geography will rob them of seeing a class act...

Yeah I'm from Perth and I'm flying over to the Melbourne gig! Good dedication roonaldo! Lets hope for your sake they go to Perth, its an awesome city!! ;D Sydney is gonna be so good, but if they do consider a newcastle or canberra gig, i can see myself travelling down the whole of east coast of australia in a week!! So how is everyone gettin there tickets? 20th June? im a little on edge at the moment...Im just gonna be so shattered it i dont get front row!!! What are u guys doing?

The tickets are listed as a fixed price of $72.90 on the Oasis site. I'd say it'll be general admission standing on the floor. So getting tix for the front wont be an issue. It'll be up to you to squeeze your way up there As long as you get onto ticketek 1st thing on the 20th you'll have no worries scoring a GA ticket. If its fixed seating it'll ruin the night... So, I hope I am right.

hey roonaldo. the reason they arent doing perth is because perths combined poplulation wont even fill the hordern pavilion! ... and its the most un-exciting city in australia (and the southern hemishpere). ok enough bagging of our depraved western australian mates. the horderns website says it holds 9000 people. but this seems a little too big. ive been there about 9 times. its a decent size venue. put it this way... i would be very suprised if it sold out within the first hour. so as long as u log on at 9am then u will be fine. the beauty about it is its all GA so not as much stressing as our brisbane counterparts (nothing is logical in QLD). and i doubt whether canberra or newcastle shows will be announced. this was done last time because they were doing livid too. also, the palace or wherever they played in canberra doesnt fit in with the other venues like the hordern so i cant imagine it happenning.

Is the Horden just a 2 level place or is it reserved seating?

Is the Horden just a 2 level place or is it reserved seating? the hordern is all GA so its first in best dressed. the trend is that the floor is filled first, then the seats. the hordern is just a big square with seats at the back and sides. its not a bad view from anywhere. the seats can be accessed from the floor (there is not special ticket or gate u have to pass through). it is just a matter of walking up some stairs. pretty much if u want the best seat or frontrow, then ur gona have to get in early. by the way... what time are people arriving?

just got my Oasis tix for Hordern concert through VISA PREFERRED SEATING!!! it feels so good to get that outta the way! now i just gotta wait till Nov 28th.... BRING THEM ON DOWN!!!!

Good work mate.
I've got tix through Visa preffered before and have been shafted. The thing that annoys me is Visa Preferred give you no information on where you will like to be seated (At least for Brisbane this time). I paid extra for the tix going through them and my seats were far from great. I could've paid nearly 2/3 the price and got tickets that were nearly as good through ticketek.
If yours are GA tix you're set, but Visa Preferred arent telling me what I'm in for in Brisbane, so I'm gunna wait.

yeah it was $10 extra for preffered BUT i just wanted to not have to worry about it next monday. (or forget, that would be a nightmare!!!) It's all GA so no seating worries.
Good luck with your Brissy tickets, bro!

Its strange the fact that im more stressed out about gettin tickets in brisbane rather than sydney...GA just makes things so convenient
Good to see uve got ur tickets tho for hordern, i hope there are still tickets left mon morning!!
It says the tickets come on sale at 9am on mon, but will we be able to book online at 12am? A mate did that for state of origin tickets, and just kept clicking on the refresh button until it came up.

yeah GA does relieve the stress on "ticket buying" day, but u still face some stress on the day of the concert in beating the other 10 000 ppl to the front. visa preferred aye? i might check that out. i got my wave aid tix through that and it was sweet. i also have a feeling that there will be an extra show announced between sydney and melbourne. they have 3 days to kill. it will either be a newcastle show, a second sydney show, a canberra show(highly unlikely) or a second melbourne show (most likely considering festival hall is the smallest of the venues. i guess we will have to wait and see and hope its syd or newcastle!

I was at central station in Sydney today, and I saw MASSIVE coldplay posters hung up from the roof of the concourse area.
Anyone else from Sydney catch this? I find it pretty unbelievable how mucuh Coldplay are promoted here... springs up poser fan after poser fan...
makes me sick =\

The same with brisbane!! I just caught the bus home from town then, and saw x&y posters on about 5 bus stops....And every music store has coldplay posters at the front
Wheres the dbtt ones!!! But the more ppl that know about oasis, particularly coming to australia, the less chance WE have in gettin tickets, or at least half decent ones (for brisbane sake)
