I've decided I can't wait until the UK tour so I'm coming to watch the boys in Philadelphia in a couple of weeks - a solo mission!
I'm interested to hear who else is going to this show and where the decent bars near the venue, where other fans may be meeting?
If anyone fancies meeting for a beer and a smoke...I'm well up for it!

Gotta pick my tickets up when I got there...just got my tickets for 9th July, Milton Keynes, UK...my 2nd July tickets ain't turned up yet though...Ticketmaster are crap.
Got me excited for this gig in Philly though....any idea which hotel they are likely to be staying in anyone?

So, just over a week to go 'til the show. Anyone actually decided where is best to meet? I will be there all day and looking for something to do...if that's drinking and smoking in the the parking lot then that's fine with me...although Unless anyone can suggest a good bar...? Not ideal for those under 21 mind you but hey, I'm 33!  |

GazOwen... cheers man, I can suggest a few good places to grab a pint within walking distance. The Standard Tap has two excellent hand draught casked ales, usually a bitter and a seasonal ale as well as traditional US style kegged ales on tap. It is probably 4 blocks from the venue and opens @ 11AM on Sat/Sun for the brunch crowds. Then there is North on 3rd which also has some good ales on draft, the Abbeye which has belgian ales and the 700 Club but I am thinking the last is not open except for the evening crowds. All these places are in the same 2-3 block area.
If you want to take the subway (Spring Garden Station is almost across the street from the venue) one stop into the city then you can get some Irish pub action (the plough & stars and brownies) on as well as a Belgian Tavern (Eulogy) and some other drinking places in Old City. Being 33 as I am ;D getting yer drink and smoke will be a piss.
