I believe somewhere on these forums, I said that if DBTT entered the US album charts in the top 20, I would cook my own shoe and eat it.

Any suggestions on preparation?

Doesn't this make DBTT the highest Oasis US debut since BHN in 1997? I know people are saying "well, they didn't have much competition," but maybe that was the plan.

I also know that people insist that SOTSG made the US top 20 its first week out, but I still think it didn't.

But no big deal. Top 10 would have been perfect, but #12 isn't bad, considering your average US music buyer probably didn't even know Oasis were still together. Like I've said before, I think the best we can hope for is to have the album bop around Billboard's Top 100 for months — which wouldn't be bad, actually.

Now, back to shoe recipies…

It went from #158 to like #110 after the Behind The Music episode ran.

I am dissapointed every week when I see the Charts in the U.S.

Then again I SHOULD NOT CARE I am 36 and the days of chart wars were when I was hoping 'Ratt' would make the top 10 and I hated that bands like 'Genesis' or Madonna did.

I was 16!!!!!

NO OTHER BAND I consistently listen to even breaks top 30 in album charts and it doesn't bother me, this doesn't either.

Oasis had ther 3 years in U.S. and they still got to #12 11 years after theri debut record in a FORIEGN country.
