Maybe there already is a topic on this, but I'm a bit lazy, so I can't be arsed to search. Anyway, are there any confirmed support bands for the UK Stadium tour? I've seen The Soundtrack of our Lives have been mentioned on the news page. Other than that, I've heard rumours of Ian Brown and The Killers... Last one not likely at all... I'm going to the first and last show of the Manchester gigs, so it would be great to know what other bands to expect. Also, have there often been more than one support band on regular gigs? I know they had several for bigger events, such as Knebworth. Cheers

Has anyone thought about the repercusions of Live8, not on Oasis, but the support??? Any chance of Razorlight for the Manc gig looks out the window, as with a number of other rumoured names.
As for confirmation, the best we have is noel sayin Soundtrack are supportin most of it, and the la's are playin a few gigs with 'em. I would say the Stands are sure fire as well. The rest we have are just guesses.

A roses and La's comeback in one gig. That would make me the happiest man in the world. It's all the bands i was too young to see first time around. But I think Brownie still sees it as a step back if he reforms them. Lets face it, it's down to him, all the others have nothing to lose, but in fairness he is selling more records than ever, roses or not.

He's still proving a point to Squire. John left and did his thing with the Seahorses and felt he was better than not only Ian but the Roses as a whole. Now times had its say and Ian is the one thats found himself on top. He's still bitter, you can see it and feel it when you read an interview with him. Hell, he only started preforming the Roses tracks again because he felt Squire had made a mess of them, and he wanted to show him how it should be done properly.

Apparently, in this weeks NME Pete Doherty says that Babyshambles will be suporting Oasis during the summer. So thats one more sort of confirmation to be added. A nice addition, but really, Pete Doherty and Liam Gallagher on the same bill. The two most unreliable men in rock when it comes, not to performence, but to acctually attending thier own gigs. Dangerous stuff.
