they really should get on every tv program that matters(great move getting leterman) Many people watch letterman, and that will sell a few copies and tell people that the band is still alive, then if you combine that with a GREAT tour and a hit single, the album stays in the top twenty and climbs into the top 10, slowly, but if they do it right it will be a hit

When they come over for their first 6 shows in U.S.

the album will rise. The hype the week of Chicago-MSG-Boston will help. Along with David Letterman.

They need to sound good and do a good song on Letterman.

The last Letterman apperance was 'I Can See A Liar' (

) in 2000.

Conan (whcih come on at 12:30 and the bands play around 1:25) they played Little By Little.

They NEED Liam in National TV.

But I can tell you ALL this.

A HIT Single is what they need.

KTDA or LLAB.

If Lyla wasn't a "hit" single, I hate to tell you, but it's not going to be anything else on the album over here. The other tunes will play well in the UK, but with few exceptions (Jet -- Look What You've Done being the most recent), the style of music that makes up the rest of the album just won't do well over here. It's fantastic music, just not radio friendly enough to stack up against the flavor-of-the-month shit that comes out and gets played every ten minutes.
