At #12 in the overall U.S. album charts, DBTT is the highest debuting album in America. This is something to be happy about!!

Well not much was released that day. Closest competition probably was Better Than Ezra.
I'd rather see this album stay on the charts for awhile instead of hit #2 like BHN and then plummet out of site.

They've got strong competition from Dream Theater this week, so this should be interesting if it drops or stays

just a note... this is not the true OFFICIAL US chart, it's usually pretty much spot on. They will probably sell a bit more albums than are reported on the HitsDailyDouble chart, and true chart position can move up or drop a few spots, usually around #5 and below, they could well be in the 10 spot tommorrow morning when the official billboard chart is released
