Well, the way I look at it is a lot better than what they did with HC. I actually think Sony was looking at #1 with the promotion with Bestbuy but with the Coldplay album coming out it may help it continue selling. That has been the main problem in years past were it debuts and then just drops like a lead baloon.

something that will happen in the US believe it or not is that many coldplay fans, people who hear coldplay and get into it and want other british music will buy oasis albums or something. I dont know how to explain it but a smart friend of mine said that albums released close together like this that even had vague similarities and connections between artists will sell better because it gets more people interested aboput the genre. Not to say oasis is gonna do extraordinary but a solid coldplay success will help oasis sales too
