gigger, I'm taking a first timer to Boston. Hopefully they'll see what I've raved about for 10 years! Yeah how f-ing bout it ? I feel a small amt of pressure. I want them to walk away from their 1st show saying "Liam is Godlike" and yelling "Noel! Noel ! Noel !" I hope Rkid is madferrit in NYC. I got a gut he will be ! (keep fingers crossed and keep the faith !)

You guys know what I'm talking about, it's fucking good man to get it out and know someone is getting what you are saying 100%. Oasis are big pretty much everywhere. Other than the United States. They've done well here in phases but come on, why should the most successful British act of the last decade, setting attendance records in the UK, sales records, not be recognized in the US as they are in the UK? Gee, let me think, er, Liam Gallagher. To an extent America likes that behaviour within its own shores, Eminem for example is another 12 year old trapped in a 30-something body.
Kalas, we debated this long-time on the phone. It's about the US man. People on here say they don't give a shit about Oasis in america, that may be true of some. But take it from me, one or two who jumped on that bandwagon are now running around post like "The guy who updates the US chart position online has gone for a wank but when he gets back in 10 monutes he'll be adding another 12 DBTT sales to his analysis".

I agree, if they can come here, keep it tight and do it on the big stage in the city, a big one in boston for the fans who missed out last time and perform on the other gigs there will be big anticipation for the fall gigs. Liam goes off the rails, but if he's off the booze pre-gig and determined to prove himself, most of all up for the gigs, he'll blow the roof off. And for those going to MSG I sincerely hope that's the case. Oasis belong in venues like that, Liam's voice is tailored to that setting, it's time to show that again.

Can't agree with you more mate and kalas. Really hope they can prove themselves at MSG and the rest of this American tour. Pray that it won't be 1996 all over again.

OK well, seeing as all the other members of this board responded, let me put my two cents in.
When it comes to MSG, there is NOTHING to worry about, and let me tell you why.
Noel has already gone on record to say that they now have a THIRD crack at redeeming themselves in The States.
Here we have the MSG show, where the whole world will be watching, and I'm telling you right now, the day before Noel is gonna sit Liam down and have a good talk with his bro, and tell him "Look, this is gonna be the biggest show of the year, we CAN NOT afford to fuck this one up. NO BULLSHIT AT THIS ONE, GOT ME???" I think Noel will tell him that if he fucks this one then he will put his balls in a meatgrinder.
I will go on record right now to say that Liam will be SPOT ON, absolutely perfect on this night, and we will all be blown away.
Now as for the Tweeter Center, I'm a little concerned about that one, as Liam will probably still be partying from the time MSG ends till about 1 hour till showtime in Mansfield, MA LOL
But that's OK, I will get to see Liam clean and sober at MSG, and two nights later I will get to see him punching the balls off himself at Tweeter! LOL
My Lord, you just know that Noel will be clawing his face off before this tour ends LMFAO

Please read my recent post;Theories on Liams voice at the moment... as it is to long for me to type again. My concern is that this time it is not due to the drink.Just watch the German tv version of Lyla and the interview that followed. He did not appear drunk to me.
