i am a bouncer i got hit with a bottle over my head workin and in self defence i split the guys head open , fucked him up real good.. he is pressin charges on me for assault cause he was hospitalized , but i got 2 off duty cops that were also bouncing willing to testify thjat it was self defence . i hope to avoid court but once someone presses charges its either they drop them or u gotta go thru with it ... its only a prelimanary hearing , but it can end up costin me alot of money  |

Im so glad some others feel this way... I said in another thread yesterday if he comes to MSG and sounds like he did on the Brussels boot, I'd consider myself ripped off. I dont know what would be worse -- the results if Noel took it up with Liam and it ended in a fight, or if Liam keeps goin on and doing gigs pissed out of his mind. Either would be really bad news. Once again, please point me ONE person who was THERE and did not LOVE it! You might as well just sell your ticket and go listen to something else instead of complaining about getting ripped off more than 2 weeks BEFORE the gig. |

I was like 11 in 98 when I saw that, and I remember liking it a lot....I remember they were all acting really pissed off and noel said something to the crowd about not cheering, but music wise it seemed alright. Maybe it woz because I was just a youngin.

I read what y'all said. I want oasis to KICK ASS, esp.ly in NYC ! NO F-ups and no temper tantrums.. ... I want to be gallaghered MUSICALLY , mentally and emotionally on this tour, in a good way ! ~like on the Krock interview, how Noel said there was gonna be NO celebrating until after the gigs ! he wants to raise the roof ! ~ I must be naive, I thought Noel gave Liam STRICT marching orders not to drink on tour ? Or maybe I read that and it was a big bunch of "hootie." How can one tame the tazmanian devil ? NOEL wants every gig to be superb. I cannot imagine what goes thru his mind. Like Noel said in MOJO , he KNOWS something will happen - "Liam will lose and ear, or get kidnapped .." and other interview he said how Liam does fine in the states starting off then somewhere along the line sees a cactus or something and freaks out !  ~ I hope he takes care of that voice and doesn;t abuse it too much i.e. drinkin', yellin' smokin', no sleep..... as it effects voice quality, lung capacity, endurance and mental stability. he is really stretching his vocals to the limits.. His voice has progressed IMMENSELy since DM.. ~ OK I better not get myself strung out ! I am taking my niece to her 1st gig and my cousin is body guarding me in philly (gen. admission)! Both 1st time shows for em, so again I want the boys to BLOW ppl away - PROPERLY !  |

I'm feeling what you're saying 100%. Noel has said himself that other parts of the world, don't appreciate what people in the UK might find funny, cool or whatever. For example my mate back in Scotland would be like oh man the boys are at it again funny as fuck, whereas my roommate here says liam throwing his tambourine to the ground is like a fucking toddler spitting his dummy out. He needs to get a fucking grip as far as I'm concerned. The music is completely and utterly indisputably world class, time and again as far I'm concered despite how others would judge some albums against others. Does he want to be remembered as one of the greatest rock 'n' roll singers of all time or the guy people talk in bars about when theyre 50 looking back saying "you know what, if it wasn't for that dickhead up front they'd have been top of the tree". Coldplay are a good band, not much more, they just took what bands like travis did to another level. They're no Oasis that's for sure. But Coldplay get the recognition. I'm not saying Liam should suck everyone's ass to sell records, that would be like watching Roy Keane play for Man U without tackling, but tone it down a bit man. And people could say this is Brussels over-reaction. Well it's actually 10 years of fucking shit up.
