We all know that DBTT was released as a single disc AND CD/DVD combo (I bought both). So when when it comes to charts such as the Billboard Top 200 Album Charts and such will hurt DBTT's chart position? What I'm trying to say is will they count the single disc and CD/.DVD discs as two separate releases, thus splitting the numbers in half (half of the people will buy the single disc, half will buy the CD/DVD) So in other words instead of the album debuting say, at #7 it would debut at #12 or so because the CD/DVD took away some of the sales from the single disc FUCK does anyone understand what I'm getting at?

Yeah, I understand what you're getting at and the answer is definitley no. It's the same release, just different formats. So it would just be like if it was released on CD and casette, or vinyl, just in this case its CD and DualDisc. Actually, I think that full-album downloads off legal music sites (iTunes, Napster, etc) also count towards album sales as well as if they were actual CDs. www.hitsdailydouble.com/sales/salescht.cgiRight now Oasis is number 1, but at the top it says less than 1% reporting, so nothing to get excited about.

That's a good thing too, cos a lot of people bought both versions.

As far as i know they count them as two different albums...that's what happened with U2's HTDAAB...they reached #1 with the single disc...and the special edition ranked somewhere in the charts as well...
