hahah, i wouldn't be surprised, from what I'm hearing about the UK TV shows...Fortunately, we don't have miming on the late night shows here, so they'll have to suck it up and play live, for once.

Apparently you've never heard of Ashlee Simpson, SNL, remember? Plus, all this miming stuff, The Beatles mimed most of their appearances, and that is good enough for me.  |

The last 2 times they were on Letterman they did Morning Glory & I Can See a Liar live, so they'll most likely do a song live, no miming. If they do SNL, it'll hafta be in the fall in October when SNL is new again. They did their songs in 1997 live on that show as well

they've been miming all those tv shows which sucks big time... hopefully they'll have the guts to do it live this time since those shows are very popular in the US...

oasis us tv appearances are always live, anyone listened to the Acquiesce version from 1997 on SNL? the intro is much different, between the intro riffs Noel pauses an extra two beats which makes the intro seem very disjointed, definitely not mimed, anyone know what i'm referring to?
i have a bunch of their US tv performances, and not one of them is mimed

I will definitely record and up it. edit: Just put in a ticket request for the show too, hope I get a ticket  If I am not working that day I will go anyway for standby tickets. |

Don't Go Away was played on both shows, SNL and Letterman. They played Letterman 4 times, 'Live Forever', 'Morning Glory', 'Don't Go Away' and 'I Can See A Liar'.
Remind me to upload DGA tomorrow... I'm really tired now.

they played Don't Go Away on The Tonight Show...I have it on VHS, and on some other show that was cancelled...I think is was The Wayans Show, or something?

of coarse it will be live! they havent mimed any chat show perforamances here in the UK and never will its just not right
you cant partly excuse them for pre recorded stuff(that CH4 thing with no audience) and TOTP/CD UK
but when you do high profile shows like letterman ther'll always be live it would be unexcuseable if it wasnt
