thats pretty nifty! is vh1 international (as opposed to being a UK VH1 or US vh1)?

I think this one is the US chart only...which is especially cool since they are beating out the popsters on there like Mariah Carey and Kelly Clarkston. You can click on the name and go rate the album.

I hope you all realize this 1 ranking does not measure album sales off vh1.com, or album sales in general.
from the vh1 website. These chart rankings reflect the interests of the dedicated vh1.com music fans.
I guess that just means opinions, or possibly internet clicks... I think the reason oasis is 1 is because thier album was avaliable for free in streaming audio on the website before the album came out. Don't get me wrong, it is good that people like the album and that it is ranked 1, but lets not get carried away.

I realize that it has no bearing on actual sales charts. I just thought it was cool that they are in number one and other "usual" popular artists are below them. It is also based on ratings given to the album on their site. Especially given that British people always ask why Oasis isn't popular in the states...I think this illustrates that someone over here likes them.
