Apparently DBTT went gold in the UK on its first day, and shifted 130,000 copies in TWO DAYS, apparently outselling the rest of the top 20 put together.

That means it's on pace for about 250,000+ in the first week, not bad, not bad at all.

Not quite selling like Be Here Now, but its still bloody impressive. Does that include the pre-orders from Amazon, play.com etc, cos that was well into the 10s of thousands?

How many people sell like that? At that time they had hype that only michael jackson has ever had. 8 years on things have changed. And coldplay will sell more than oasis and easily knock them off no1 i'm afraid kalas.

I wonder how many more copies will be sold when/if Let There Be Love is released as a single. I think its definitely the one with the most commercial appeal.

Im not so sure about that here in the uk m8, SCYHO was along the same lines and that didn't do the greatest! And most people i know have bought or heard the album said that LTBL was one of the worse tracks off the album, I love it but it ain't knowhere near my favourite. Cheers doggboy

Oasis aren't gonna be no1 for the rest of the year I reckon. When the album is out singles aren't really needed apart from the people who want the b-sides which prolly isn't many.
