anyone else have problems importing the new album using iTunes? it is reading the damned cd side @ .4x which means it takes 20-30 minutes per track to import. it is the dualdisc that is the issue 'cos i tested a few other cds and they import at the usual 16x or about 45 sec per track. is there some kind of security encoding, what with the 500+ FBI warnings all over this. i guess i will either go and buy the UK CD version or download from iTunes. Oh yeah, plays great in the car and on the home stereo, just my PC that is having issues. (both CD players too!)

I got the dualdisc also and imported it to itunes, but some of the tracks get a funny static noise at the end of the songs. It sounds fine if you just play it off of the cd, but not through itunes. When I imported the album, it did take a lot longer than normal.

Okay I erased the songs from itunes and reuploaded them again from the dualdisc, and every song is now completely fine. I wonder why it did that. It took me three tries to get it uploaded on there fine, but it finally worked.

Good read indeed... fucking bastards. wonder if you can get around it easily? tried again and my PC will not play this dual disc in either CDR/DVD player I have. iTunes will read the disc but not play it and WinMedia player does the same thing. The flip side is that I can play the DVD side on my PC and hence get the Dolby 5.1 surround, which sounds bloody great. I think I will order the UK version, non dual disc.

To Damonabnormal and others with a similiar problem.
My laptop also could not read the audio side of the dual disc. I had to take the cd, and my software program, mp3 player,(creative nomad, similiar to ipod) and usb cable to my friends house to transfer the tracks to my mp3 player, but I did not have any problems transfering it from the cd to the mp3 player. It is may just be your dvd/cd recorder not being formatted for the dual disc, But its not a problem with all dvd/cd recorders.
