I love Oasis as much as anybody and God knows they deserve to be #1, but given the state of American popular music it would be a miracle if Oasis even cracked the top 10.

I dunno we'll all have to see..I think top 10 would be a more realistic miracle...DBTT is #60 in today's top selling albums on itunes USA, so #1 seems rather far fetched, especially if casual rock fans have only heard Lyla. Its really gonna take a hit single I think for Oasis to reach #1.

I don't know whether this is an indicator of how well this album is going to do or what, but I work at Target here in Texas and we sold out of the album today.

I think it will do better than the last two albums, and more importantly, have staying power given the massive U.S. tour.

I don't know whether this is an indicator of how well this album is going to do or what, but I work at Target here in Texas and we sold out of the album today. I showed up at 11 at Hastings(they open at 9) and they only had 3 albums left...

If it makes the top 10 I would be amazed. Top 20 would be better than the last 2.

errrrrrrrm, mtv didn't really say anything about oasis getting to number one, just kinda doing its usual weekly release info thing - basially its trying ot hype an unusually bad week for major releases. In fact, oasis would have to sell just about every single copy of the album shipped to the states to get there, which is impossible - though it does sound like they have a chance to break the top twenty this time.
