does any one know what i mean by "the oasis surge"? you know when youve been waiting around patiantly for the band to appear, the tensions running high. then the band appear and everyone surges to the stage in fit of hystiria that can only be matched by your team scorring a winner in the dying minutes against your hated rivals & the whole terrace unites as 1 & steams downward toward the fence at the front of the stand, with the week & the unprepared bowled over and sprawled left lying in wake of the mighty tide! surely this is the high point of any oasis gig & indeed what makes the band so special! but how the hell can we replicate this in an allseater arena  |

That was the only thing I was upset about when I heard they were playing MSG, no GA floor. I think U2 is the only band in awhile whose played at msg that doesn't have an all seated arena.

yeah, with the seating i wouldn't expect much of a surge. You'll get a few idiots trying to sneak up to the front row, but for the most part people will stay in their own row

u dont actually sit u stand for the whole gig but that space is yours so you can leave for bar/toilet and when you come back its there - i soppose u could actually sit if you want

Yeah
I seriously doubt that anyone will be sitting during the gig if they're down front.
I do like general admission down front, but like was said before, seating is good too if you need to go to the bathroom or something, so you won't lose your place.

I have FAITH that Liam will be madferrit in NYC ! related : I was wondering if they will have anything "special" planned for msg ? doubtful - but who knows ? they shld just do the old noel, andy and gem enter first, liam waits a few mins... Noel looks around , like is he coming ? then enters LIAM ! WE GO BONKERS ! But if they come on with FITB, they will all come on at once right ? ~ I will not sit all nite. period end of story. if ppl behind me sit, that is their choice. deal with it ppl. ~ you still planning on playing some latenite football in the streets around times square ? LOL ! you did mention that once ! |
