why do i feel somewhat underwhelmed by the album version of let there be love?... why the change of lyrics? i actually preferred the original... the 2000 demo felt far more solid... it's like they've tried too hard with it, too many strings and stuff maybe but i guess all in all i feel the new official version feels a little too slow-paced for me... i reckon it would've sounded better if it were the same faster tempo as the original... still it may grow on me like others have.

Album version is WAY better in my humble opinion; the lyrics are much improved.

lol i guess i just prefer the feel of the acoustic original... the new album version just completely threw me as the demo is one of my favourite oasis tracks even though it is only a demo.... i do like it though... i think this is the first song that noel and liam shares vocals ever since the early days of acquiesce.... i do reckon the album is better than HC and hopefully it'll grow on me like SOTSOG did (already starting to)... plus i guess i'm also just as guilty of changing my own lyrics once to often myself after everyone has heard it lol.

I never really liked the demo much, it was the worst of the 4 unreleased songs at the time of the bootleg leaking. I was very annoyed when I found out it was going to be on this album. Fortunately, it got the transformation it desperately needed and it's not a fantastic finished piece of work.

I was a little nervous when I heard it was on the cd and I showed the demo to my friends over a friendly game of poker and they turned it off halfway through. They definitely refined it, and it has become one of the best tracks on the album.
