It's OK but certainly doesn't justify the kinda hype it's getting - just a sign of the lack of genuine 'big' bands for the press to get their teeth into. Too many of the songs are straining to be grandeous and deep, just ends up being samey and dull for me.

Instead of having a coldplay v oasis war why not embrace both, cos there both shit hot bands.
