were people lining up to buy the album, or did you see other people in the store picking it up as well? just wondering what the first day of sales is shaping up to be like!

were people lining up to buy the album, or did you see other people in the store picking it up as well? just wondering what the first day of sales is shaping up to be like! There weren't no queues in my local HMV, but town was empty with bank holiday and all that. When i walked in i went straight upto the oasis section and there was some numpty who looked like that lottery winning cat cock Michael carroll looking at the album with his missus(who was hideous by the way) he then muttered i ain't buying that i can't stand that liam and walked off, If he don't like him then why the hell did he go to the oasis section and pick up and look at an album he had no interest in buying?. The guy behind the counter was sound though he said it was about time real music was bought back and that he loved the new album, But then slightly spoiled it all by handing me a coldplay hologram ad thing and reminded me that there albums out next week ;D Cheers doggboy

I got mine in Virgin Megastore in Oxford, and I had trouble actually gettin to the CD on the stand, cos there was like 5 people all crowded round it. There was a real buzz in the store - they were playin Love Like a Bomb when I walked in. Then in the high street when I was walkin up there and walkin back I heard loadsa snippets of conversation like 'Yeah, I've got my copy pre-ordered for when I get home' and 'Can't wait to get this on, it's gonna be buzzin'. Now, I don't think somehow they were talkin about their dinner or the new Turin Breaks album somehow! I think it's gonna sell pretty well meself.

Got into my local Virgin at about 1pm (that's the shop not some local talent ). There was a bloke in front of me buying two, and they had to get the last couple of those stickers from upstairs cos they'd just about run out.

Not many people in our Virgin when I went in at about 11.30am.
There was one bloke in the queue ahead of me though and he was buying the album too.
It'll be sure to sell brilliantly.
