Just gone and got my copy of DBTT(Couldn't make asda last night as i was bladered), Cos you get a free poster i though id get it from HMV. I Bought both the cd version and the dvd version, the cd was £12.99 and the special edition dvd was £16.99 which i think is extortion to say the least, I just hope these sort of prices don't stop the casual music buyers from getting it(as us oasis fans will buy it no matter what). And the poster ain't the best either, just an ad for the North American tour, id have much prefered a band or album poster. Still im chuffed to bits i've finally got my "mucky fingers" on the real thing.
Cheers

I will probably end up getting my copy from HMV too although after hearing the prices I may pop into Virgin and see what they're saying. Under £17 surely for CD and DVD?? Wish I'd pre-ordered online now. What is the "hardbook copy" of the album? Is that the above package in special display box? Cheers!

Yeah i got the hardbook copy for £16.99 from HMV, its just like a little book with a section for the cd and section for the dvd, with lyric sheets and photos sandwiched between. And the cd is just that.....a cd ;D cheers

I'm willing to bet that it'll be a lot cheaper next week, as they'll know that they'll sell the vast amount in the first week.

Those are pretty steep prices. At this major electronics retailer called Best Buy, they're selling the dvd version of the album for $11.99 which is I guess about 6.5 or 7 pounds, and you get a free bonus Oasis cd with it. Don't know what's on it though.

In Australia HMV are the biggest rip off merchants around. I never go there unless I absolutely have to or they have a sale where on occasion, something good is going on the cheap.

I think HMV are publicing the CD/DVD at $26.99AUD which is about 11 Pounds give or take so that's not too bad. I bet you'll b able to get it much cheaper at other stores especially the budget retail stores like K-Mart and the like. The cheapest though will be at dirtcheap Cd's via their website. I'm guessing around $15.00 and then down to $10.00 after a few mths but who can wait that long??? Not me!!!

Well I went to the local Woolworths first, guess what......sold out. So I went to Sainsburys and guess what.....sold out. So I ended up going to MVC and guess what.........well, no it wasn't sold out there but I was pretty amazed to be honest that they had sold out in the local woolworths cos it aint a very big town where I live.
Must be packed with Oasis fans! Cool!

I walked through the terrential rain Monday morning at 9.30 to Woolworths to get the single disc copy for £9.97 but i walked past my local record shop today and i got the dual-disc edition for £14.99, i was offered a poster and they gave me two (one large, one small)
They just had a picture of the Garages with 'Don't Believe The Truth' on them and had the release date.
All worth it though, i love Noel's impression of Gem on the DVD (i actually rewinded it to watch it again) 'No, i wanna fookin' play bass!'
