Lyla dropped to number 6 this week in the uk charts number one well that doesnt need mentioning with coldplay at 2 on a plus note Whats the Story Morning glory is now at number 36 in the official Album chart which means it must be drawing ever closer to biggest uk album of all time

Not a surprise. Most Oasis units are always sold in the first week.
I wouldn't get too carried away about MG though. Charts in the UK are very 'top heavy' meaning that it doesn't take many album sales to get in the top 50/40.
