I had been holding out listening to the new album until about 9 pm today, I wanted to hear it for the first time after i bought it from the record store. But I cracked when I clicked onto oasisinet and the album just popped up. I had to give it a listen, I have spent the last 4 hours listening to it...

My thoughts, if anyone cares.
The album bewildered and disoriented me at first, cause it sounds sooo differenet from oasis. But after a few listens I love the album. My fav thing about the album is there are no tunes I skip over, like digsy's diner, or put your money where your mouth is, or i hope i think i know, and none of the songs go on for too long. lyrically the songs are meaningful

Fav tune as of now is LTLB, gorgeous song. Then I gotta go with Mucky fingers. So catchy, the beginning where noel starts singing is pure magic. Noel's songs are the best tunes imo(with the excpetion of Lyla), POTQ and TIOBI are also brilliant. POTQ,MF,AND TIOBI sound nothing like anything oasis have done before, even Noel's voice sounds different in these tunes. not suprisingly, my least favorite tune on the album is lyla. maybe its cause ive listened to it a million times already, but something about the chorus annoys me, I think the song has too much chorus. I like the verses though. I think anything else would have been a better first single.

The tunes of the other band members are not quite as catchy as noel's, so i did'nt fall in love with them at first listen, but they are growing on me. They compliment Noel's tune well, cause an album full of catchy songs can be redundant. GGTIA is my fav so far of Liam's. His songs are decent, and fit the album well, but not anywhere near Noel's level yet. I know many will disagree, but i don't any of his tunes on this album are better then songbird.

A bell will ring is my fav song not written by noel on the album. I love the guitar playing in the song.

Andy's KTDA is fantastic. TUTS is a decent tune, but I don't like the effectg they put on Liam's voice on TUTS.

overall i would say a 9/10, I don't understand some of these poor reviews they got. The album flows well, there is not a single bad song on the album, and there are def. great songs. Best of all this album sounds unique as a whole to not only anything oasis have done, but to anything anyone has done.
