wwell they gave x&y a 9/10 but didnt really say much about the album, just chris being married to gweneth. they even mentioned be here now in it.
apparently they gave dbtt a 6/10 but said that it was base camp for their return to greatness

Thankfully those NME freaks don't live in my country, cos I would smoke them out and hunt them down . They are incapable of reviewing music and disrespectful to quality music. All their reviews are totally strange and they doesn't hold ground. Giving WTSMG a 7?? It is not an album of Phil the streetmusician? Giving Coldplay a 9 and Oasis a 6 is all part of the campaign of hyping another new band an breaking an older band.

I can't understand, how could they give X&Y 9/10? That album is a copy of the previous one, with no new ideas. If they can't understand, that Oasis music is changing and it's better, than recording album with the exact same sound,

I've only heard Speed of sound, but in my opinion, if the first single is the copy of "clocks", then the whole album is the copy of the previous one. Maybe, I'm not right...

Kind of presumptuos really mate - by that rationale the whole of DBTT sounds like Lyla, which is the most backward-looking and obviusly "Oasis" song on the new record. I think DBTT is great and the NME are twats, but you can't judge the whole album by what the first single sounds like.
