Will The album sell?? The album is GREAT!! There are Die Hard Oasis fans. They will buy it no matter what. There are Oasis fans that rate them as one of their favorites. They will buy it too. There are casual Oasis fans. They have MG and maybe either MG and one other like DM or BHN. Will they?? The key is, there are people all over the world that have MG but only that or one other. Will they buy it off of reviews or single air play (equalling 'Lyla' right now) or b/c Oasis plays in their town and they like the 'new stuff' not just the old stuff. A lot of people go to concerts to hear the old stuff and never do buy new material. I am guilty of that with other bands. Oasis is the only band that has put out over 5 records that I own every record. I do own 6 U2 and 5 Charlatans UK, but not every one. So..............without a 'Wonderwall', 'Live Forever' or 'Champagne Supernova' radio hit, will it sell? ? We'll see.

That's why I think the leak was a good thing... I've seen a lot of non-'die hard' fans that downloaded the album, loved it and decided to buy it when it comes out.

It will do well here in Canada. As for the states, I see it going into the Top 20, I don't think it will crack the top 10 unfortunately.

i expect it to do well in Holland too. Lyla is on the television more than any Oasis single since Wonderwall, which went to the top 3. Even the newspapers and music magazine's take more attention to the upcoming album. I have the feeling that this album will bring them back to the popularity of the mid 90's over here. And you know, they deserve it.... they deserve it to be marked as the best rock n' roll band in the world. They deserve it to be on the top in every country; uk, japan, us, holland, germany, italy and so on. This could be the summer of Oasis, the summer they shine on the front as Rock n' Roll's face in 2005. And when they look over their shoulders they see bands like U2, Bon Jovi, Keane and Red Hot Chili Peppers crying in distance.
