news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/music/4571535.stmOasis get seventh UK number one The song, taken from their new album Don't Believe the Truth, marks the rock group's seventh UK number one single. Black Eyed Peas entered the chart at three with Don't Phunk With My Heart, while Jennifer Lopez's Hold You Down debuted at six. Faithless' Greatest Hits compilation tops the UK album chart on its first week of release. Numbers two and three were also new entries - Mezmerize from metal band System of a Down, and Magic Time by veteran performer Van Morrison. Oasis last topped the singles chart in April 2002 with The Hindu Times. Their other number ones include Some Might Say in May 1995 and Don't Look Back in Anger in March 1996. Their new album is released later this month ahead of their summer festival and stadium dates. The other new entries in the Top 10 singles were Owner of a Lonely Heart by Max Graham vs Yes at nine, and the Kaiser Chiefs' Everyday I Love You Less and Less at ten.

=) its not that it makes a big difference, but i do think it is nice Lyla got to number 1. When they do well in the charts or whatever, or in reviews - it doesnt change my satisfaction with the music, but it feels good to know that other people are appreciating Oasis.
