RHYS IFANS TO STAR IN OASIS VIDEO
ONE of Britain's best character actors, Rhys Ifans has just filmed a rare starring role - in an Oasis video.
It's for the second single from the band's new album, Don't Believe The Truth, which is due out on May 30.
"The video was shot on Tuesday in London," says our insider. "Rhys plays an undertaker and wore a black top hat, scruffy black coat and big boots. His hair was all wild and he had to follow a coffin. He looks fantastic in it and totally unrecognisable.
"Rhys didn't want to get paid for doing it. It was a favour for his pals Noel and Liam."

Dunno why, but having an undertaker in the video makes me think Mucky Fingers or LTBL. Any ideas how soon after the album this will be released?

The coffin makes me think of LTBL, possibly even KTDA maybe, although I suppose it could be any of the songs, although I'm ruling out LLAB

I've been searching for ages for a live version of this song. There's an acoustic floating around but I'm pretty sure it's fake.

I'm stumped to be honest, although I would be surprised if the second single was sung by Noel. A Bell Will Ring would be cool. A two fingered salute to the croony pop loving radio conspiricists.

well i don't know if it's ltbl , but ltbl will definitely be a single because it's on the album "feature" sticker. and those 95 % of the time wind up being the singles. but it sounds like the video would best fit with ltbl. if not that, then tiobi.
- cheers !

Where has ths 'A Bell Will Ring could be a single' talk come from. I've not seen a shred of evidence anywhere to say it might be,

My guess is on LTBL for the 2nd single, only coz of the sticker on the cd photo and the promo posters. I was only saying that MF is more likely to become a single than TIOBI. But well.. who knows?

I see and yeah I agree with MF being easy to like and it being a single first than TIOBI I can't explain TIOBI... it just aint for radio or something....
