it's good to see that they're being noticed. My friend said that he heard "Lyla" twice on the radio the other day ( going to work and going home from work). i never listen to it....but i hope it keeps getting played !!

Looks to me like we need to organize some more spamming of DJs. Hey, Kalas!

wow..going to AND from work? those are peak times for radio...that's amazing...good stuff! I never listen to the radio so I haven't heard it on the radio, but it's great that it's getting noticed. Again, I think most of it has more to do with Sony finally promoting them to ClearChannel well enough, even though most of us know the new album is of better quality than the last two. they need to work with american producers more often

MTV isnt calling the shots. It's in regular rotation on VH1MegaHits...you have to realize there are more music outlets here than MTV, lol. MTV doesnt play alternative music anymore anyway..they play Mariah Carey and a bunch of hip hop. Most of the time they just have shows on. Oasis was smart to get on MySpace early...like it or not..it's a huge marketing tool for getting the word out among young people likely to go buy the CD and to go to the concerts. Let's give some creit to the fans too...I am proud to say I started the first thread weeks ago reouesting airplay for the video on the VH1 Oasis board and there have been massive efforts to get the radio stations to play it. I think it's safe to say DBTT will do well here in the states. Lyla is in the top 20 on Billboard...I think if they time the release of the second single well, and they promote it...they may stay on the charts for a while..plus they will get lots of exposure with the concert dates they have scheduled.

Lyla has been doing very well with zero MTV2 and VH1 video play. If these stations start playing Lyla next week, Oasis should continue to climb the charts.
