mtv 2 just had a commercial and said part of the new music month feature was OASIS "dont believe the truth" the bands eagerly awaited record...maybe it will start gettin played now

Yeah, I would say it was about damn time! I'm telling you, with MTV play this album is really going to hit it big here in the states!

I think it will be VERY different this time. Look at what Lyla is doing on the charts all across this country. And Sony is pushing this album like they mean it. It only means good exposure and results for Oasis. That's my opinion. And I'm still waiting for that hopefully *very positive* Rolling Stone Magazine review.

Wow! That's great news!! If Oasis gets MTV exposure, my prediction is that this album could be a hit!! Great songs (that I've heard so far) as well as the always entertaining Gallaghers could make for a pretty special year.

Yeah, I have always been reading posts, but I never had posted on here. I was posting alot on Oasisinet, but that board is so unreliable with the forum always going down. Thanks for the welcome; I'm happy to finally be posting on here!

I had a talk with BMG Sony Rep last nite. he said " We really want to promote this one well" lets see then i hope so boss...but what worries me is mtv did the same thing with HC they said look for new videos by.so and so so and so and OASIS yet i never saw it ..i think this time may be different with your info on the managment and the promoting NOEL is doing..not to mention the sell out of msg ..fingers crossed

Absolutely. You would think with MTV being located in New York City combined with the news of Oasis selling out MSG (in under an hour, mind you) would be a recipe for success. I hope they promote this single and album because it's pretty fuckin' good and more people should hear it. After ten years of American backlash, they deserve it!!

Vh1 is adding Lyla to its rotation next week. This will give it more great exposure (it had just been playing on Vh1 mega-hits).
