In New York I was disappointed. There was no announcement or welcome on mic. I was sitting in some seats along the walls, we had music from next door drowning out the Oasis tunes, or at least adding way to much bass to them. Finally I moved to the bar and heard tracks 4 and on from better speakers. All in all I was upset with the Japanese bar(nothing on tap and only Sapporo in bottle). I enjoyed it a bit, but the beers were 8 dollars and not much entertainment wise to back it up. I was glad to hear the music for the first time among fans, but I now wish I'd waited.

Although I got some free Oasis lighters, matches and coasters I want a lighter lighetr was ben sherman, not oasis. they were supposed to have tees but they got stuck in customs. ben sherman tess were all they had. |

Yeah, the lighters werre Ben Sherman. Matches and Coasters were Oasis.

In all honesty, i think this is first time in states i have seen them try and promote Oasis, so dont feel so bad. They should have done this years ago imo.
Not just for Oasis..for most bands.

If I worked for Sony I would have made this an event. So many fans waiting for something to happen. They should have had an Emcee, pre-post album DJ, or contests.

paul - i dont believe that at all lol shadowboxer - yeah we're planning to have a meet up before MSG, we'll plan something i wasnt even there before thew show so i dont know what they were playing lol, right after DJ oil [ROFLMFAO] was playing some bloc party, franz ferdinand, the caesars etc, and the kasabian people were starting to come. but it was cool, they should have played the album one more time i guess! |
