From what I remember 'Blender' never liked Oasis.

Anyway I am assuming that it's 3 stars out of 5.

Now almost No One gets 5 stars so they are a star short.

If the worst reviews give it 3/5 then we're doing ok.

No sweat.

Once again 'The Beatles' thing. Ugh!!

In the age of Pop and Rap that lift ENTIRE MELODIES and songs, why does Oasis have to deal with this crap.

What song on DM lifts from Beatles? Not allowed to use Piano on Digsy?

MG? 'Hello' has barely a snippet of Gary Glitter. Not Beatles.

DLBIA has the opening piano of Imagine. The rest of the song which is great is their own.

She's Electric only used the very end on purpose.

BHN used 4 'references' to the Beatles but I didn't hear any melodies of.

SOTSOG? Ok LJ was an idea directly inspired by Hey Jude.

HC?

Sick of it.

Some of these critics are cop outs using the Beatles thing. Some of my friends that are not Oasis fans persay, say that they don't hear the resemblance and think it was more from the Gallaghers mouths (which was all in fun) then the music.

Well Coldplay are everyones darlings.

IF (and that is a BIG IF) we are going to let reviews make us happy or sad then it will come down to Rolling Stone and possibly Billboard Magazines.

No matter what people say, people that aren't FANS of a band will use reviews like RS to make their decision.

Rolling Stone won't give them a good review, so forget it...but regardless, Blender? They're just trying to be hip & cool by doing what they think every other music magazine is doing. The only way they accomplish this is by retreading the same waters as before; calling Oasis out on the Beatles influence. Interesting how they accuse Oasis of not being innovative anymore while they spurt out the same criticism from the last few albums.
