You really think BHN is better than DM??? Fair play to you, but I have to very strongly disagree

i'm with ethanwa on this one....definately maybe is an awesome album...but be here now i think was as close to perfect as you can get. people complain about the length of the songs, but thats what i loved about it. 2 or 3 minute songs are just too short to fully enjoy (that being said, all around the world was a bit too long for the material it had to work with)....also, i think Don't Believe The Truth is slowly growing to be the best album in my books.

DM MG DBBT HC SOTSOG BHN
Now I LIKE ALL the albums and I think BHN has some GREAT songs on it, but as an album I juts never sit and play the whole thing from start to finish.
All my drives are short and I never just have 72 minutes just for an album listen
I usually program BHN:
DYKWIM SBM IHITIK TGITDS FI/O DGA AATW IGBM
Cuts it down for me.
As far as Individual songs, I beleive BHN has some all time classics, but we were discusiing albums and NOT songs.

Well if I ever second guess BHN it only flip flops with SOTSOG.
Now if SOTSOG had been:
1.FITB 2.GLIO 3.WFL (how it sounds on FTM in which u can hear the rythym guitar). 4.Carry Us All 5.GP 6.One Way Road 7.LAMB 8.WDIAGW 9.ICSAL 10.SMC 11.RIO 12.Cigarettes
Now that would be my #3, but that is wishful thinking.
I burned an album just like that putting WFL from FTM in place of studio version.
I crank that (created) album all the time.

My new list.... best to worst 1. (What's The Story) Morning Glory? 2. Be Here Now 3. Definitely Maybe 4. Don't Believe The Truth 5. Heathen Chemistry 6. Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants I agree! Everyone thinks I'm loony, but I like BHN a lot more than Def Mayb. Do Y'Know What I Mean is one of their top 3 songs, easy. Haven't heard the new album yet (I am one of the few waiting), but My order is exactly the same as yours otherwise.

I like: Definitely Maybe Don't Believe the Truth What's the Story Morning Glory Heathen Chemistry Standing on the Shoulder of Giants Be Here Now
I think HC is underrated, and BHN has alot of filler that is unecessary. All the albums are better than everything else put out by these so called musicians these days.

Morning Glory DBTT DM SOTSOG BHN HC
BHN wouldve edged out sotsog for me if every song wasnt about 2 minutes+ too long

I started a thread awhile back listing my favorite albums thus far, but a week later my opinion's changed. I originally had DBTT ahead of HC and SOTSOG, but I'm going to list the new album only slightly ahead of HC.
4. Standing On The Shoudler of Giants 5. Don't Believe The Truth 6. Heathen Chemistry
I just haven't found wanting to listen to it over and over like I do the first three. And it's made realize how good SOTSOG was

got to disagree there. I love every single track on DBTT (apart from KTDA) whereas I pretty much hated all of HC, and most of SOTSOG. DBTT is pure class

1. Morning Glory - released 2nd 2. Definately Maybe - released 1st 3. Be Here Now - released 3rd 4. Don't Beleive The Truth (OK I haven't heard it, but I hope and beleive it'll go here and you'll see why soon) - released 6th 5. Heathen Chemistry - released 5th 6. SOTSOG - released 4th Incidentally: 1. Return of the Jedi - released 2nd 2. A New Hope - released 1st 3. Empire Strikes Back - released 3rd 4. Sith (again, hoping) - released 6th 5. Attack Of the Clones - released 5th 6. Phantom Menace - released 4th Notice that the order of release of the top 6 Oasis albums mirrors exactly the order of release in the top 6 Star Wars films!! Plus there is a lot of disputation as to whether DM (released 1st, but second place) is better than MG (released 2nd, but first place), and also as to whether A New Hope (released 2nd, first place) is better than Return of the Jedi (released 1st, second place)!!! PLUS, neither Sith nor DBTT - both fourth place - have been released yet!! Does this mean that Oasis, too, will never release anything after their sixth opus, and that they will be made into a cartoon series as is Star Wars?!?! What the bloody Hell is the world coming to?

1.dm 2.wtsmg 3.bhn 4.hc 5.dbtt 6.sotsog
to be fair i have only given dbtt one full listen so far, but so far i prefer hc over it a bit, but not much and i have much more listeneing to do over the next two weeks until i get the actual album. there are some good tunes on dbtt, but i think liam's songs on hc were just much better 'oasis' songs than the ones that appear here although ggtia is pretty good after one listen so far. better man and songbird were among the best songs oasis have released since morning glory. abwr is a top tune though. mucky fingers is a good track, but all i could think when i heard it was "that great love song" by the ravonettes. anyone else?
