Before I say anythin' I just want to say that Liam is the bollocks!! (Don't want a bad karma ) But I've heard 2 live versions of Lyla as you probably all've heard, and I'm not blown away by it to say the least. And I know it could be the bollocks live!!! Is it just me or what, please respond!!

The Milan version sounds much better, he just needs a little more air and it will be perfect.

Something about his voice when he sings Lyla sounds flat, Milan was a enormous improvement over Ross though.

I think it's painful to listen to Lyla live, Milan, Alcatraz, or John Ross...
He simply doesn't come close to the studio performance, and it's painful to listen to. If it doesn't improve, it would be nice to drop it off the setlist in favor of something that he can sing more easily...Acquiesce? I'm pretty disappointed that Acquiesce isn't part of the setlist yet.

Have to agree... The Jonathan Ross version was pretty out-of-tune and flat sounding sadly. This could be another case of Stop Crying Your Heart Out where the studio version sounds better than when it is played live. Maybe it is just because those songs sound so perfect on the albums? Liam's voice has definitely, definitely improved since Glastonbury and the last few shows before that though so who knows he might still nail it yet!!??

Your request to drop it from the set is totally absurd. That was one of the most cheered moment for the 2 gigs of this tour.

Yeah, I`m listening to it on repeat now, and I`m quite enjoying it, doesn`t sound anywhere near as bad as it did on the TV, it`s actually....alright!

I thought JR wasn't too bad but the Milan gig was awful. It was strange seeing as the rest of the set was pretty good but Lyla was just horribly flat

Sorry about above quote my point was maybe I need to listen to Jonathan Ross again without watching it on TV. I was with some Oasis-bashing work-friends at a house party when I saw it so they were quick to condemn Liam's vocals!!
