I haven't really heard anyone say they are head-over-heels for this song, and if i'm wrong then i'm sorry.
I just love the message of the song, to me it's the entire idea of oasis in itself, the dream of rock n' roll, the chorus bursting out with "even though I fall from grace" (losing their intense popularity all over the world from the 90's) but still bringing on home the incredible rock and roll music they'll never be able to stray from
That's my rant. Had to say it somewhere.

It's the first song that really wowed me.
I think it's top 2-3 for me.
Love it!

And that's pretty good considering I think it's better than almost all the songs on Heathen Chemistry.

yeah id rate it maybe 5 or 6 on the album funnily enough i find liams vocals on that amazing... but for some reason, that song feels like it coulda been so much more... that guitar solo/fill thing is also terrible!

I love a bell will ring but the vocals are pretty damn rough, were they recorded before he fixed his voice or are they recorded with no production on them? It works well for the song tho.

Yeah I agree, but I thinm that the rougher vocals aren't so annoying when the song is rockier if you know what i mean. It just sounds awful on keep the dream alive i think. Its the boring melody which makes me wanna skip KTDA though

Yeah i agree with you mate, although i think the chorus to KTDA is amazing, the verses are abit dull

All I can say is Keep The Dream Alive is fukkin' class, as is with almost every thing else on the album...
Just think of how much KTDA would have boosted Heathen Cmeistry if you replaced Probably All In The Mind with KTDA. Think about that one, and then you might realize how great this song is.

Nah id rather judge a song on its own merits rather than putting it next to other songs. KTDA has a great chorus, but it aint gonna change my world!

to be honest I think its very very bad. But I don't want to even think about All In The Mind.....that song was offensively bad.

i haven't heard it yet, but i heard the clip of it from the video things about the album. after watching those things the only two songs that stuck in my head were Love Like a Bomb and Keep the Dream Alive. i think it sounds great eventhough i havent heard the whole thing. But this one seems to split ppl. i'm just tired of hearing ppl say it should have been a b-side. coz i gurantee if it were a b-side those same ppl would have said, "how's that a b-side ?! it should have been on the album!!" but that's just my opinion. can't wait to hear the whole thing!!
- cheers !

Yeah i agree with you mate, although i think the chorus to KTDA is amazing, the verses are abit dull the verses are sooo dull. the melody is just monotone. in fact it wouldnt surprise me if they purposely kept the melody so dull to give the chorus more of an impact... the lyrics dont do much for me and its also far too long those 3 points make it the worst song on the album in my opinion. (plus the chorus is over-rated!) im not saying its a bad song, i like the outro and overall its ok but i doubt it would even make my top 50 oasis songs i dont get how anyone could love it - to me, its just not one of the those songs that can be loved. no character, imagination, brilliance, humour.....
