Most of the people like it, few people find it disappointing. However, how cool is it taht half the people dislike POTQ half the people love it to bits? Some LOVE MOS (I do ) Some hate it. Some think Idle is mind blowing some can't get into it. It's a GOOD SIGN. It is a strong album, and it is very refreshing. It's not a SOSOG where they were tying to be too different, but not HC where they tried to be a wtsmg/dm. They are just being themselves, and it worked. There's songs on this that'll definitely interest some new fans. The album is definitely the hardest Oasis to get into, but once you do you can't get out. It's so weird how people are so split on the tracks, but it is definitely a good sign. It shows they have a lot to offer and haven't in fact dried up. It also means the album will last longer, as If feel I'll get into some songs I'm not as into now, and others will get into some songs they're not feeling right now. I can't turn off Mucky Fingers currently. It's amazing. When I first heard it, it bored me. DBTT is so amazing. The title makes a lot more sense after hearing it. Gotta make up your own mind on this one. It's hard to judge.

Yeah I definitely think that when an album is divisive it shows how good it is

Yeah I definitely think that when an album is divisive it shows how good it is agreed... look at HC... everyone thinks THT, SCYHO or LBL are the better songs in the album; it's because there's a lot of crap songs that almost no one likes... if people loves different songs of this album, it's a sign that all of them are likeable!!

Actually, I'm pretty sure the same could have been said about Heathen Chemistry when it was released. Every review I read of it picked out a different so called "only strong track", some saying the liam written songs were the only good ones, some saying that Noel should keep writing all the songs, etc.
my fave songs were songbird, probably all in the mind and betterman, kind of pisses on your theory doesn't it?
I've no doubt that the new album will be recieved just the same, and a year or so down the line people will only remember a few of the songs from it. Not because it's not a good album, but because people are just bitches.

I totally disagree. Most people find Little by Little, Hindu, or scyho to be the strong tracks. People also give props to songbird and boadc is more of a cult favorite.
This one is being received a lot differently.

I love this album because it's like be here now for me. When I first heard be here now, I hated a lot of it and liked some of it, but eventually one by one, i started humming the songs to myself and really got into it, and now it's my second favorite album.

I loved it straight off (being a Lou Reed and The Velvet Underground fan.) He did a great job reinventing a unique style. Noel's voice is incredible this time around and the sound they produced in Sardy's studio is INCREDIBLE ! so are Liam's songs once again ! Viva la Gallagher Bros ! Tam

I think the diversity on the new album is amazing! It took me a while to appreciate it ALL thats for sure but now I am firmly loving the whole thing (including the b sides to lyla). I can't even pick a favourite track right now. Ah probably ".. Being Idle" maybe at a push..??! Its great that Liam and the other band members are chipping in on songwriting now, I'm sure this will extend the OASIS shelf life!! That being said Noel is always going to be the king of song writers for me... Who can argue with his back-catalogue of songs?!!
