Mucky Fingers is an outstanding tune. For instance, when I let a friend of mine hear it (him being a huge jam band fan [Wide Spread Panic and the like) heard the tune he demanded on getting my burnt copy of the new album. Kinda blew me away how someone that Ive known forever and have also known to not be an oasis fan would be so stoked all the sudden. Hopefully I created another madferit, but this just goes to show how genre crossing and amazing this tune is.

Yes, YES!!!!! In agreement with everything you just said, and when the album comes out and Oasis fans and non-Oasis fans are blown away by this tune The Chief will be sittin' back, shit-eatin' grinnin' sayin "I told you so"... I KNEW he wouldn't let us down! LONG LIVE THE CHIEF! LONG LIVE THE CHIEF!
Oh, and BTW, when they play this one at The Tweeter Center and you see a 6'0 foot tall guy with a Red Sox hat and glasses dancin' and struttin' around in the Section 5 aisle like Ric Flair, that will be me! LOL
It's allllllll mine

Weakest on the album. The harmonica bit sounds stupid and he's mimicking Dylan so much it's embarrasing! I can see what Noel was trying to do, but I think he's failed here. Sorry, just my opinion.

embaressing? what the hell. LOL HE MIMMICKS THE BEATLES SO EMBARESSING.
His voice doesn't sound a thing like Dylan. It's a great song. Sounds top. Maybe you aren't just into that type of music

His voice doesn't sound a thing like Dylan. In Mucky Fingers, that's what he was aiming for - believe me.

Noel is a big Dylan fan and says he loved to work with him u love Dylan (like I do - the man's a fucking genius) and you'll love this song if you dont love Dylan, fuck off and go listen to your robbie williams records

Dylan as a songwriter is great. Only a few songs does he ever sound great.
There has never been a song with fantastic lyrics and no tune be a hit. It has happened thousands of times the other way around.
