Dont be. I saw them twice on the HC tour(have seen them many times over the years). It was opening night of the HC tour Pompano beach Fla. where he went off after a couple of songs and Noel did the acoustic thing. He was visibly upset and one could clearly see that he just was so hoarse and flat.Two nights later, I saw them in Orlando fla. and his voice was as strong as ever!!! I met some people that were touring with the band and they confirmed that Liam was in fact truly gutted that he couldnt pull it off in Pompano and felt he had something to prove in Orlando. (They said it was due to the long overseas flight,dry plane air etc.not the result of a Liam bender).
There is no question he was flat tonight on J. Ross but very often these types of chat shows have horrible sound which doesnt help matters.(witness Leno in the states). Also, cheers to Kalas,Doggboy for providing enjoyable,intelligent reading leading up to the release of Dbtt.
