Ok i watched this live on tv and to be honest i think some peoples comments about liam not being on the ball are totally unjustified!! people are being far to critical it sounded fine to me as did my generation and you cant compare a proper live peromance (being in the crowd in a arena/stadium) to a tv perfromance ...there gonna sound totally difffernant, i've seen them live about 15 times and it just aint the same Come the summer shows it'll be amazing trust me...keep the faith hes still the main man as far as front men go  |

his voice did get better as lyla progressed.
his voice was 100 times better than glasto 2004.

I haven't seen the video but I listened to the mp3...
that was an ace cover band, that singer sounded alot like Liam. But I am sure the real Oasis will rock our fuckin socks off. Can't wait.

So are you saying Liam uses a different voice for TV? His voice is his voice is his voice and forever more it will be.
I agree it's not the same as seeing it live but the only difference between seeing them tonight and seeing them in the summer is that I won't be deafened by such a flat and forced voice.
Listen to Lyla on the album then listen to tonight with your eyes closed, you'd think it was a fucking Liam impersonator and a bad one at that.
I;m not a Liam knocker, I love the guy and on record, especialyy DBTT, his voice is fucking amazing but live he's lost it. The only difference is, live he's got a billion decebels of crunchy guitar and 1000's of fans covering parts of it up. It's only on TV that you realise how shaky his voice is. Remember Stop Crying Your Heart Out on TOTP and CD:UK? Fucking hell, I was cringing from start to finish.

his voice was much better and clearer, you people are way too critical, the music and sound levels were more off than his voice.

People put way 2 much expectation on this band,...
Can t people listen to those tracks as a whole?
Liam has been singing his guts live for over 11 years now, so his voice cant be perfect all the time.
The J_Ross performance was way much better that what i expected.
Nothing to do with glasto2004...
The next gigs are gonna be amazing, why?Cos its Oasis.

i thought the first verse of lyla was a bit off but after that it was good.
now i was a bit mashed but can someone confirm if Liam was wearing white jeans or light blue jeans ?
if it was white then i think thats quite worrying.

It was properly out of tune!! It picked up a bit towards the end. My generation was a bit better than Lyla.
