Is it just me or is this song absolutely amazing!? I am truly fucking blown away by this song. And to think that Liams gone from Little James to this! Just the right amount of production, brilliant lyrics (especially the rainbow bit!), and Liams voice sounds a lot like it does on Married With Children all those years ago. Its probably my favourite song on the album. I know thats a bold statement but I fucking love it!
Anyone think the same?

fair enough if you don't like the line.
I quite like half rymes (ala bag/jack in Mucky Fingers) because they allow for greater meaning interwoven into the lyric.

I could'nt agree more m8 to me this is the best oasis track in years i cannot believe liam wrote it, and you know it has that meaning everyones on about, of course its about his and noels relationship just listen to the words the line "You could be my enemy guess theres still time/I'll get round to loving you is that such a crime?" is brilliant. And the beauty of lyricsm is how you use words not what words you use, Bob Dylan is the king of that, Any tom dick or harry could get a dictionary and rhyme big complicated words and put them into song but people see straight through that(Robbie williams is a perfect example of someone who is trying extremely hard to be a songwriter but fails miserably). I just get the feeling liam writes completley off the cuff? strange chord arrangements(but work brilliantly) and just writes whatever hes thinking at that given time, Noel wrote the same way in the DM WTSMG days but more and more hes trying to find that killer song(He were'nt far off with SCYHO, brilliant track) I honestly think liam is the future of oasis, with the guidance of noel and gem he can become one of britains best songwriters.
cheers

rainbow/abel doesn't rhyme. It doesn't matter. It still sounds okay. Noel's done a similar thing before. Sometimes it's better not to use a word that rhymes because everybody's already heard the fuckin rhyme like 40 times. That gets annoying. I do love the song though. It's my favorite behind Idle.

robbie,i think he made up with the guy who wrote all his hits,,guess he realises he cant cut it ;D I know, he won the best song in 20 years(sun paper poll) and said thanks very much its an honour to win such a prestigious award yet the fat camp gimp didn't even write the frigging thing, Guy chambers wrote it i believe whos somewhat of a songwriter for all sorts of singers, groups, fat camp twats. As i type im buzzing of abel, its such a feel good tune. i can just imagine in the summer with some sienna miller type, cold beer maybe an illegal of some sorts and just singing along to this! BBBBBBRRRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIILLLLLLLLLLLIIIIIAAAANNNTTTT. doggboy
