Just a thought but im glad that Liams actually sounds like Liam again. Just my opinion and i know not everyone will agree but some of the tracks on HC and SOTSG he sounded tooo Lennonesque (if that make sense) and although there are some top tune on there i just think he sounds just as good being himself. The power is still there but also that vunrability (or however ur spell it) that has been missin for a while and a change of key! How good does it sound when he changes key and sings higher.
Just my opinion so there ya go.

Agreed, except for "Won't Let You Down." Great tune, but scratchy as *uck. Also a bit Jon Crocker doin' "With a little help from my friends, "the 'won't you say, it's time that you came out and played, won't you say..." bit I mean.

not so, watch the lyla vid and youll see he raised the mike a GREAT deal, which means no more strain on his voice. He went to a vocal trainer and she suggested he quit smoking and raise the mike, so hopefully his voice will be better on tour also as a result

having the mic above you. while liam looks iconic doing that and is i must say the coolest. is very bad singing posture. If a voice teacher suggests doing that she's mad. You're supposed to stand straight as possible and sing straight out. not up- it creates too much strain...

i think he's forcing a lil bit his voice... too much in tunes like let there be love, and keep the dream alive... i think he should just accept his new voice... Like in SOTSOG, i dont think he's forcing it. its different but it still sounds good!
