i like the songs and the album(ive only heard 6 songs) so far, but if what im reading and hearing is correct, im gonna miss the "thrashing guitars" I like their acoustic slower songs, but it seems like that is what most of the album is. Even on HC there were some rockers. I wish they could put a couple songs on there that have the guitars from the DM BHN and WTSMG days. none of the songs accept lyla really pick me up like some might say, my big mouth, or Cigs and alcohol

i think it's a decent album. i think it's like sotsog in the sense that it's an album that grows with you you're right, at first I just wasn't feeling it. But after a few listens I really grew to like it.

you're right, at first I just wasn't feeling it. But after a few listens I really grew to like it. Thats true... at first I thought GGTIA and TUTS were pretty average, even when everyone thought they were great... now after a few listens, both those songs are really growin on me

i think it's a great album. really loving it. the songs are really good and i think it's one of those albums that the songs just work really well together and give an overall great sound and feel if you know what i mean. favourites at the moment are mucky fingers, the meaning of soul, guess god thinks i'm abel and let there be love.

Noel's songs are the best. a cut above Liam's, Andy's and Gem's.

Agree--Noel's songs are more creative and much better written! They are mega!!!What I love about Noel's tunes are they completely surprised me--which is what he use to do in the 90s. He still can write GREAT tunes
I think it is interesting to compare LTBL (obviously old tune) to TIOBI and see how his songwriting has progressed.

Musically the best album this far. The Gallagher's are fully grown musicians, with help of new members Andy Bell and Gem Archer. This is not a new DM of WTSMG, but they do make a statement again, they created something new, something that can inspire people again. This album is in contrast with the last three, they are all killers no fillers on this one. It's various, it's refreshing, it's really good. My personal favourites are keep the dream alive and love like a bomb, for the first time not all the best songs are written by noel. My only critic is that the album is too short, there was space for some pounding rock tunes written by noel. But respect, this album is magnificent!
