OASIS’ new album has appeared online ahead of its May 30 release date.
According to fans emailing NME.COM, ‘Don’t Believe The Truth’ appeared on the German iTunes site yesterday (May 3), allowing users to listen to snippets and download it legally.
The full album was not hard to find on the site, and although only German users can buy the record, samples from each song on ’Don’t Believe The Truth’ can be accessed from any computer.
NME.COM contacted Apple but they declined to comment. A spokesperson for Oasis is currently unavailable.
‘Don’t Believe The Truth’ is Oasis' sixth studio album. Did you buy a copy? What do you think of the songs? Email your stories to news@nme.com.

I'm not an itunes user...but you can't just post your own mp3's on there right? how did they even get on the site then...?? Someone at apple must have posted them right? Is that how it works?
I love the album...kind of a strange sound to some of the songs but overall great...a couple of typical oasis tunes in there w/ Keep The Dream Alive and A Bell will Ring, but I think it's better than the last two albums combined, so far. And even the b-sides to Lyla are mega.

Apple will have had to have had permission from Sony. It just seems strange that Germany gets it earlier. What's that all about? Doesn't it come out around the same time as the UK?
I don't think the UK itunes updates again until Tuesday.

But why would they give the album to iTunes so soon if the release is not for another month? They will just sell it online, it's not like they need the music to make thousands of CDs.

If that's the case then Sony/Oasis can sue the pants off Apple, although they won't because iTunes distributes so much music now.
