A lot of you people care about the reviews. I mean, if you like oasis thats good and if you dont, thats fine as well. If they got bad reviews and you love the album why will you bother looking how much they perform in NME or Rolling stones... Stop wondering about what "other" people think of Oasis. The multi-million selling albums were in the 90's, it wont happen again, but they can still make good music, reviews are useless for us(Oasis fan)!!

I agree with you. I care not for reviews. As long as I enjoy the album, that's all that matters.

Personally I love reading reviews, but I usually don't put much stock into them. Actually some reviews can be entertaining and insightful depending on who's writing the column. Yes we'll all form our own opinions, and yes most of us will adore the album no matter what. I do like from time to time to read a sincere review from a non fan - someone who is completely objective. This sadly is a bit rare as most reviewers have thier own hangups. JMO. ;D I remember a month ago when Kalas heard the album - now that was a great review.

The multi-million selling albums were in the 90's, it wont happen again, but they can still make good music, reviews are useless for us(Oasis fan)!! i am totally capable of making my own opinions about music, but that desnt mean i dont like hearing what others think about it. at the moment with DBTT everyone is hanging off the words of reviews cos its all we ahve got - we have to trust what these twats say cos we havent heard the whole thing ourselves. and reviews may not matter at all to us cos we're all big oasis fans - but to other people, good reviews in mainstream mags do have the potential to influence. so going on the assumption that most of us woudl like to see oasis being the biggest band, and make otehr people see the light about the greatness of oasis, then yeah, i suppose reviews do play a part in that. that said, it has absolutely no direct influence on my like/dislike of an album. usually if i read them they get me interested in it so that i go and listen to it myself.
