well Sir Soul, the answer to that is Sony/Epic/Big Brother
This album is the last on the Sony contract. A bidding war is almost assured once its released.

Has Noel said much about this? (other than he hates sony) Is there anything other than speculation about this at this point?
Who are the contenders?

In the UK they'll release it under Big Brother-- their label under Sony.
In the US it'll be released under Epic records, another label that runs under Sony.

whichever company...even if they stay with sony, they'll rewrite it making sure they have full creative control. seriosuly...what was with all the shite about sony picking the first single for DBTT? i mean, i like Lyla a lot, but its meant to be a bands decision, not the record company's, i cant seem them standing for those sort of restrictions with the new contract.
